Discover the love story between him and his wife, Mrs. Corinne Melchers, as you walk the halls of the home. Stroll the grounds of his unique and historic home where you can see furnishings and rugs original to the house, china selected by Corinne, and tour the studio and see the art in the stone galleries built adjacent to the home. Visit the restored gardens and shop in the museum store after exploring the trails. Not only will you find books, prints, and so much more at the Museum Shop, but you will also find the official home of the Stafford County Visitor Center. The visitor’s center houses one of the first Smart City Tourism Kiosks in Virginia.
